JUDGE - GRAHAM BONNET
Legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet burst into this world on December 23, 1947 in Skegness, Lincolnshire, England. Bonnet first garnered attention in 1968 as one half of the Marbles; a band he formed with his cousin Trevor Gordon with the help of Robert Stigwood and the BeeGees. The Marbles enjoyed a UK Top 5 hit with the emotional ‘Only One Woman’ penned by the BeeGees. Subsequent songs, ‘Light of the Burning Candle’ and ‘the Walls Fell Down’ didn’t chart but did receive critical acclaim. In 1977, Graham signed with Ringo Starr’s Ring-O Records and although the self titled album was not a major seller in Britain, it achieved gold status in Australia. In 1979, Bonnet replaced Ronnie James Dio in Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow. With his James Dean-like image, the choice of Bonnet as Dio’s replacement was the subject of some consternation amongst the band’s more traditional heavy metal fans but the album “Down To Earth” was the band’s most successful and birthed the hit singles ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’ and ‘All Night Long’. Not long after Cozy Powell’s departure from Rainbow, Bonnet would also exit the following year and resume his solo career with the album “Line Up” in 1981 that earned him a UK Top 10 single with ‘Night Games’. Later that year, he joined Michael Schenker Group and recorded the near perfect “Assault Attack.” In 1983, Graham, along with the help of his then manager Andy Trueman would begin assembling Alcatrazz. The band received moderate success with No Parole from Rock n Roll featuring guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen and Disturbing the Peace with Steve Vai on guitar. In 1987, Graham joined forces with Chris Impelliteri and recorded the hard rock classic “Stand In Line.” Over the next several years, Bonnet would record with many artists including Blackthorne (featuring Bob Kulick of Kiss fame), Forcefield (featuring his Rainbow bandmate Cozy Powell), Japanese powerhouse band Anthem, a second album with Chris Impelliteri “System X” and Dario Mollo’s “Ezoo”. Graham also recorded multiple solo albums “Here Comes the night,” “Underground” and “The Day I Went Mad.” In 2014, Graham formed the eponymous Graham Bonnet Band with bassist Beth-Ami Heavenstone and Conrado Pesinato and released the album “the Book” for Frontiers Music in 2016. “Meanwhile Back in the Garage” followed in 2018 and the band released a third studio album “Day Out in Nowhere” in 2021. Graham also continue to records and will perform with his version of Alcatrazz featuring Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy, Nevermore on guitar and Van Williams, also of Nevermore).
JUDGE - BETH-AMI HEAVENSTONE
Beth-Ami Heavenstone, a lifelong music enthusiast, discovered her musical talent when an ex-boyfriend left a bass behind, sparking her realization that she could play. This determined attitude defines her contribution to the Graham Bonnet Band's debut album, "The Book," where her meaty tone and groove-filled playing shine.
Born in Philadelphia, Heavenstone's path shifted to rock 'n' roll upon meeting singer Tomi Rae Brown, widow and featured performer for James Brown. Together, they formed Hardly Dangerous, a prominent Los Angeles-based rock band. Despite modest musical abilities initially, Heavenstone's authenticity and potential were recognized by Brown, leading to collaborations and success.
A left-handed bassist playing a right-handed instrument, Heavenstone leverages her unique approach for greater dexterity on the neck. Influenced by blues bassists, she contributed significantly to "The Book," recording bass tracks at home amid her responsibilities as a mother of two. Her collaboration with Graham Bonnet on bass-lines showcases their creative synergy, striking a balance between elaborate parts and maintaining a driving feel to the album. Heavenstone also co-produced and executive produced their current album, Day out in Nowhere.
Heavenstone's dedication is evident in her exclusive use of a Clayton .56mm pick and her choice of '74 and '83 Fender Precision basses live and in the studio, showcasing her unwavering commitment to her craft.

Good Colour
Featuring legal talent from Bell Kearns
Rocking for Rebuilding Exchange
What do you get when you combine a country vocalist, neo-soul guitarist, funk pianist, jazz bassist, and classically-trained drummer? You get a creative mix of music not quite like anything you've heard before – you get Good Colour.
Started in 2022 in downtown Chicago by a couple of friends, the original goal of Good Colour was to jam on street corners and play some covers. But before long we started writing some BANGERS. Once we realized our potential, we focused on becoming an original-focused band with big aspirations.
Inspired by an eclectic mix of genres old and new, from Chris Stapleton to James Brown to Maroon 5, Good Colour delivers its very own brand of unique and soulful music. We want our audience to feel good vibes, dance, and enjoy life, and our music reflects those themes. We hope you get down with us!
La Fete Du Funk
Featuring legal talent from Lindsey Lund Law, LLC; Confluence Orthopedic Growth Strategies; Lake County State's Attorney
Rocking for Uniting Voices Chicago
Like most, the members of La Fete Du Funk share a collective belief: that the 1970s represent the pinnacle of music. For our money, rock and roll and disco reign supreme - in sound, style, attitude, and the sheer ability to make you move. La Fete sets out to combine the singular qualities of these two unruly genres - the electric racket, feel-it-in-your-chest bass and drums, and loud and unflinching style - in a disco-rock cocktail that gets your head stirred and hips shaken. So if you want a show, hit the theater. If you want a party, welcome to La Fete du Funk.

Risky Tingles
Featuring legal talent from Cooley; U.S. Attorneys Office, ND Ill.
Rocking for Music & Potlucks
Formed in the wake of the pandemic to fill an acute entertainment need at a Chicago block party, the five 40-something men of Risky Tingles soon realized they had something—or just enjoyed getting together in a basement steps away from the revered Lincoln Hall to make music. The core Tingles repertoire is defined by the non-obvious upbeat songs sung by the classic groups you love—the Beatles, Stones, Band, Petty, Dylan, Van the Man, and more—usually with something of an Americana flair and a harmony or two. We can’t wait to take the stage at Lincoln Hall and get the audience moving on behalf of Music & Potlucks, a great Oak Park-based organization that builds community through musical gatherings and raises funds to support providers of essential services on the west side of Chicago.
Featuring legal talent from Cooley LLP and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. Featuring Illegal talent from Group One Trading and the Chicago Public Schools
The Thornes
Featuring legal talent from Illinois Court of Claims; Schneck Law Offices; Monterrosa Law Group

The Thornes began as a group of fathers whose children attended Hawthorne Academy, a Chicago Public Magnet School located in the shadow of Wrigley Field. The dads were all accomplished musicians. We were first approached to start a band to support fundraising at the school (at one time we had 13 kids attending the school). The shows were a success drawing crowds from the community (Our motto is " We don't suck as bad as you think we will!") Over time we began receiving requests to perform at other fundraising events.
Over the years, The Thornes have raised well over $100,000 for local charities. We have performed with "Big "Head" Todd and Nicholas Tremulis. We also performed as the opening act for Big Head Todd and the Monsters. We have we won several "Lawyers Rock" battle of the bands competitions over the years.

JUDGE - JEFF BAKER
Jeff Baker has a long history of making noise in an organized manner. When Jeff was 11, Jeff conned a drum set out of his grandmother for the sole purpose of annoying his mother. Shortly thereafter, Jeff traded his first Grateful Dead album—“Sitting on Top Of The World”—for a Marine Band harmonica and Jeff was off to the bright lights and melody lines. Since that portentous trade, Jeff has taken up many different instruments, including guitar, piano, saxophone and accordion. If pressed to respond, Jeff would concede that he is primarily a keyboard player. Jeff has played in countless bands, some good, some not-so-good, some worthy of soundproofing. Notable experiences in this regard include playing in a side project with numerous members of the Boston-based band “O Positive”. In addition, Jeff has written and recorded songs produced by Stu Kimball, Bob Dylan’s former guitar player for countless shows. Currently, Jeff is in a tribute band called the “80’s Strike Back” (get the pun?)
On a professional level, Jeff graduated from Trinity College and then Suffolk University law school. Jeff has been practicing law over forty years now (where does the time go?). Baker has litigated in federal courts all over the country trademark infringement cases, copyright infringement cases, royalty claims, and manager agreement disputes, involving notable bands such as Boston, a former member of the Backstreet Boys, members of the Meters, Carly Simon, and Supertramp (the Supertramp case tried; Baker contributed but Baker was not chosen at the last minute to be lead counsel). Baker continues to maintain an avid interest in music and hopes one day to retire from the practice of law and live off of his recording royalties, the possibility of which is extremely remote.
