The 100 Club
The third annual Law Rocks! Singapore happened last night! And wow!
A completely sold out Timbre @ Substation witnessed the return of The NeRFs from Norton Rose Fulbright, The Unbillables from Baker McKenzie, and the Illegals from Rajah & Tann. They were joined by Ashes to Ashes from Ashurst playing their first ever Law Rocks!
The bands set lists took the crowd from the Rolling Stones, to Joan Jett, to Pharell, and all the way to Linkin Park and Blink 182. Law Rocks' Singapore representative Sara Paradisi from Berwin Leighton Paisner was full of praise for all the bands, and proclaimed that Law Rocks! Singapore has found its new home at Timbre.
The "compere without compare" and kind sponsor, Anil Changaroth oversaw proceedings from the stage and policed the judges admirably. One of those Judges, Declan Redmond, CEO at Keating Chambers in London and veteran of many Law Rocks gigs around the world, said it was one of the best LR gigs he had been to.
But as ever there can only be one winner, and this year Rajah & Tann emerged victorious. Francis Xavier and his team should be VERY proud! You guys rock!!!
This years event was in aid of both Tasek Jurong, and Arc Children's Centre which are both Singapore charities.
Until next year, when Singapore will rock again..............
