Mistrial was originally formed in 2014 by five lawyers in White & Case’s NYC office. Known to rock at events large and small, Mistrial features the vocal stylings of Brian Kim, the riffs of Charles May (guitar), the rhythms of Daniel Cohen (vocals/guitar), the grooves of Raj Gandesha (bass), the beats of Joshua Weedman (drums), and the talents of Kate Swisher (keys). Mistrial is excited to bring its spin on modern, new wave and classical rock to Law Rocks, and raise some money for Fiver Children's Foundation!

Rocking for National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City
Nunc Pro Funk has been formed as a special purpose entity to compete in this year’s Law Rocks NYC and raise money for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Comprised of lawyers and legal professionals from Paul Hastings, Cooley, and a top legal recruiting and staffing firm, along with a couple of musical friends from outside the law world, the band will showcase the talents of former professional musicians who played with renowned bands and artists before getting steady day jobs.

Rocking for The Scarlett Fund
Willy C. Picker cut his teeth playing country and blues in small clubs along the banks of the Potomac. He had a loyal following, but was never able to break into the big time until he joined up with a brash band of Boston rockers—the Hale Stormers. Together, Willy and the Hale Stormers deliver an energetic and eclectic mix of rock and R&B. They are excited to return to the Law Rocks stage, and equally excited to raise money for the Scarlett Fund, which helps fund groundbreaking pediatric cancer research.

Christian Schulte is a host actor and producer, currently serving as the Director of Production at MFM Transmedia in New York. He has hosted events for top global brands such as Samsung, Chanel, Maserati, Google and Acura.
With MFM Transmedia, Christian created, wrote, and starred in MFM Original sketch comedy show Missed Connections, garnering nominations and awards from around the country. His television credits include Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Comedy Central’s The President Show.
Anthony Bozza is a New York City-based author and journalist. He was a staff writer at Rolling Stone for 8 years. In 2002 he left the magazine to write Whatever You Say I Am: The Life and Times of Eminem, which was born of the unparalleled access and hours he had spent with Eminem while working on his Rolling Stone features and beyond. The book was a New York Times bestseller and an international bestseller, topping lists in England, Germany, France and South America. He then co-authored numerous autobiographies of artists including Slash, INXS, and Tommy Lee. He’s since written 7 additional NYT Bestsellers, including books on AC/DC and Artie Lange. His latest book, “Not Afraid” is a follow up to his first book on Eminem and will be released Nov 5.
Born an artist, Sarah Feingold decided the best way to protect creative folk like herself was to attend law school. Sarah is currently a Fellow at NYU Law School co-producing a show called Legal Madness, which features anonymous, true, can't be believed, stories of in house counsel.
Sarah began her legal career as the 17th employee and first lawyer at Etsy. For nearly a decade, she played an integral role in scaling Etsy from an inconspicuous startup to a publicly traded company. After Etsy, Sarah joined Vroom as its General Counsel and first attorney. In 2018, The New York Law Journal awarded Sarah with the General Counsel Impact Award for her accomplishments. Sarah is an international speaker, the co-founder of The Fourth Floor, and consults for various startups. You can also find her making things, writing, eating candy, hammering silver, and chasing her child.
Erich Collins Carey is the Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Round Hill Music, one of the largest independent music rights companies in the world. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects concerning the acquisition, licensing and legal protection of copyrights in the Round Hill catalog which includes songs recorded by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and James Brown, among many others.
Carey joined Round Hill from the National Music Publisher’s Association in Washington, DC where he worked for four years as Vice President & Senior Counsel. During that time, Carey played a key role in the NMPA’s campaign before the Copyright Royalty Board, resulting in a major rate increase in mechanical royalties paid by digital streaming services. Carey further provided legal support for the enactment of the Music Modernization Act and designation of the NMPA-backed Mechanical Licensing Collective by the US Copyright Office.
Prior to joining the NMPA, Carey worked for six years as an associate in the Digital Media & Entertainment practice group in the New York City office of law firm Pryor Cashman, LLP.
Carey’s advocacy is founded on a personal passion. An active singer/songwriter, he has recorded two albums of original material, has twice earned honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and regularly performs as a solo act and with bands the Constituency (NYC) and Rock Creek Kings (DC), which recently won radio station WEHM’s Real Band Battle and the Judge’s Choice award at the Fifth Annual Law Rocks DC.
Carey is a graduate of Amherst College and Fordham Law where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and is currently enrolled in Nashville’s Leadership Music Class of 2020.

Clients represented include (in no particular order): WME|IMG, ICM, UTA, MGM, VNY Models, Anne Hathaway, Harvey Keitel, David Byrne, The Moody Blues, Candace Bushnell, and The New York Islanders.
Marc is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the BB&T Premium Finance line of business – AFCO Credit Corp. Based at AFCO’s New York office in midtown Manhattan, he oversees the legal team serving stakeholders of AFCO Credit Corp., CAFO, Inc. and Prime Rate Premium Finance Corporation. Marc also oversees the legal function for BB&T Commercial Equipment Capital Corp., BB&T Equipment Finance and BB&T Governmental Finance.
Prior to his current role Marc was an Associate General Counsel and Vice President with AIG Investments in New York responsible for managing litigation throughout the AIG Investments group of companies, with specific attention on financial crisis litigation and real estate. Before that, Marc was a commercial litigation and bankruptcy attorney with Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in New York.
Marc received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1994 and Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1998.
Marc is also the lead singer and rhythm guitar player with The Mulligans, a popular classic rock and dance band music in Westchester County, NY.
For over 30 years Andy has been an ardent legal advocate for creators of intellectual property and entertainment entrepreneurs. His client base spans the spectrum from emerging talent to iconic music superstars and from established companies to start-ups.
Andy is well versed in the challenges facing the music industry and has spoken at numerous educational events, been featured in books, quoted in Billboard and the Wall Street Journal, and interviewed on NPR. Andy is actively involved with NARAS’ NY Chapter’s Board of Governors, the Board of Directors of the TJ Martell Foundation (the music industry’s charity committed to finding a cure for cancer) and the ABA’s Music & Personal Appearances Division as its Vice Chair.
Wendy LaManque is returning for her third year as a Law Rocks Judge!
Wendy is Eastern Counsel for the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), the labor union representing the workers who create professional ballet, opera and choral music across the country. Prior to serving as counsel to AGMA, Wendy spent six years in a law firm here in New York City representing major entertainment unions and other labor organizations.
A lifelong artist, musician, and performer, Wendy is continually looking for ways to integrate her love of music into her personal and professional life. In her spare time, Wendy is both an advisor to and performer with The "Leave a Lasting Mark" Concert Series, a monthly event based at the world famous Bitter End, which brings local independent musicians (including Wendy on vocals and flute) together to raise money for charities such as Oxfam, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Covenant House and others. Over the past 9 years, the series has worked with over 30 charities, and has raised over $100,000 for a variety of worthy causes and organizations. Wendy also serves on her local arts committee, the Ossining Arts Project.
When not lawyering, organizing, volunteering, or serving as a celebrity Judge for Law Rocks, Wendy performs with her husband (Terrence Brennan) in their folk band, The Whistles, and can frequently be found on the road with the electric ukulele jam/folk/fusion phenomenon Cousin Earth (featuring Terrence on vocals, keys and kazoo) at venues and festivals throughout the country.
