Amperband is comprised of legal & musical legends from McCarter & English. Why are we called Amperband? It's our tribute to the mighty '&' symbol, the unsung hero that connects words & phrases, like we connect our Amperfans to chart topping hits from the greatest eras of music.
Amperband was formed in 2023 debuting at Johnny Cash Bar & BBQ in Nashville. Besides Tennessee, Amperband has graced stages in NYC, DC & Florida with our distinctive three guitar sound. Now we’ve taken a page out of Lebron James’ playbook & will be taking our talents to South Beach to play both Miami and NYC Law Rocks this year!
Amperband boasts as much expertise in riffs & rhythms as we do in regulations & rulings. The band includes seven members from five McCarter offices & a whole lot of legal wit & even more musical talent. So, if you are Amperfan material (& we know you are!), welcome to the Amperfamily!

The Meltones have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for non-profits in New York, LA and Miami and are thrilled to play in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami.
This year’s Miami lineup features GT attorneys: Miami Shareholder Jessica Fishfeld (vocals), Miami Shareholder Burt Bruton (guitar/vocals), Albany Shareholder Chris Cernik (keyboard), and New York Shareholder Stephen Rabinowitz (guitar), with able backing from Burt’s local bandmates Larry Misrahi (bass/vocals) and Allen Lynch (drums).

Formed in late 2024 at the Wynwood School of Music, Touch of Grey brings together six passionate musicians — Eric Greenwald (guitar), Carl Linder (vocals), George Scopetta (keyboard), Leo Valencia (bass), Jorge Rodriguez (drums), and Larry Rosen (harmonica) — under the musical direction of AJ Hill from Miami’s own Spam Allstars. Touch of Grey proudly performs in support of Young Musicians Unite, the nonprofit organization that believes that every child deserves access to music education regardless of their socio-economic background.
For the third year, Law Rocks is awarding a Music Matters grant in each city to benefit a local organization that supports music education, particularly for underserved youth. We are excited to announce Guitars Over Guns as our Miami recipient this year! Read more in our Nonprofit Spotlight interview with Guitars Over Guns.
We are proud the Fourth Annual Law Rocks Miami 2025 bands raised funds for the following organizations:
Tamika Bickham is an award-winning journalist, creative director, storyteller, and speaker who helps leaders ditch the script and show up with confidence, clarity, and credibility — on camera, on stage, and in the world.
Through her UNSCRIPTED approach to storytelling, Tamika has hosted, emceed, and trained leaders at more than 100 events, reaching audiences from small teams to national conferences. Her storytelling expertise has fueled measurable impact for Fortune 500s, nonprofits, and mission-driven financial institutions, helping them earn trust, attract investment, and mobilize communities. Recognized with honors including six Hermes Awards, five Telly Awards, an ABBY, and multiple leadership awards, she inspires leaders to trade polish for presence — because the leaders who leave a mark aren’t perfect, they’re unapologetically real.
Antonio Correa is the Programs Manager for the Miami region at Guitars Over Guns (GOGO), a nationally recognized nonprofit that empowers youth in under-resourced communities through music education and mentorship.
In his role, Antonio oversees programming across multiple sites, working closely with teaching artists, mentors, and community stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed music instruction and mentorship.
He designed and helped launch the Atomic Lollipops, a student-led band born out of GOGO’s South Dade community programs. Under his guidance, the Atomic Lollipops have become a creative outlet and performance platform, channeling young people’s stories and resilience into powerful, genre-blending live music.
Antonio has a deep connection to the South Dade community, having previously served as a mentor before stepping into his current leadership position. His lived experience and genuine commitment to youth development make him a trusted figure among students, mentors, and partners alike.

Self-taught as a child growing up in Serbia, Daniel was influenced by the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and MTV hits from the 80s and 90s. Though always drawn to the deep groove and harmonic magic of the bass guitar, it wasn’t easy to get a bass guitar back then. Instead, Daniel played rhythm guitar and sang in several hard rock bands in Novi Sad, including Invalid Minds and Aloha, both of which gained a loyal local following in Serbia.
After moving to the U.S. for college for a sports scholarship, Daniel took a musical break until the 2010s, when he finally picked up his dream instrument: a Geddy Lee Signature Bass. He eventually teamed up in 2015 with Stacey for the original Rock Candy Rock Band. The band rocked the local scene until 2021, when a pandemic and a tragedy struck. The band lost its drummer unexpectedly and went its separate ways. Daniel is excited to be back with Rock Candy 2.0 recharged and ready to “kickstart your hearts!” Daniel also moonlights as the singers’ security guard, due to his 6’5” height and muscular Serbian frame. He’s a teddy bear, though. He can also sing.
